2026...??

Oh my god, I almost forgot that I even have this blog… GUYS
When I looked back, the last time I was here was September 2025??? And now it’s already mid-January 2026?? How does that even make sense?!

As I’m typing this, I’m half-lying on my bed, my back bent like a bow, laptop on my tummy, in my homestay in New Zealand. Yes… you heard that right. I disappeared for so long that a LOT has happened — and I’ve been in NZ for almost two and a half months now, ever since I landed in Auckland on 30 October 2025.

Time really flies (I know, I’ve probably said this a million times…), and I barely open my laptop these days, which is why I hardly update. I guess life’s been keeping me busy…?

So, here’s a quick life update.
When I first landed in Auckland, I couldn’t move into my homestay until 1 November 2025 because the previous tenant hadn’t moved out yet. So I stayed in an Airbnb for the first two days.

I was also supposed to buy a car on my first day in Auckland, but the guy who promised me a test drive didn’t keep his word. He later told me he sent the car for servicing and found quite a few issues, so he decided to sell it only after fixing everything. And just like that… plan gone...

I was a bit anxious (okay, maybe more than a bit), because honestly, in New Zealand, not having a car feels like not having legs. So I went on Trade Me — a buy-and-sell platform — and somehow found the exact same car model I wanted. I messaged the seller immediately and booked a test drive for the next day.

He lives in Remuera, so I took an Uber there the next morning. After the test drive, everything felt fine, so I paid NZD 3,150 and boom — I got my first car in New Zealand 🚗✨

I think I’ll continue this story next time because I’m pretty tired right now. Not sure when the next update will be, but I promise it’ll be soon.
