Fried Chicken Battle
TGIF!!! π I just had dinner with my brother at Popeyes, and now that I've tried a few fast food chains in Singapore, I figured—why not rank them based on the most important factor? Fried chicken.
Here's my totally subjective, highly scientific ranking:
- Popeyes π
- Jollibee π
- A&W πΊ
- Long John Silver’s π
- McDonald’s π
- KFC (Kentucky Fried Confusion?)
Now, before anyone comes at me with a drumstick, let me explain:
- Popeyes and Jollibee serve up some seriously tender and juicy chicken. It's like biting into a crispy, golden cloud.
- McD and KFC are a struggle. Their batter is just... confusing. Too thick, too weird, like the chicken is trapped in a flour prison. And don’t even get me started on KFC—what happened to their signature taste?! The disappointment was real.
- Long John Silver’s is what I like to call the healthier fast food option (yes, it's fried, but let me have my delusions). Their fried fish? Chef’s kiss.
- A&W is your standard fried chicken, nothing mind-blowing, but hey—their root beer float? That deserves its own ranking.
So there you have it, my fried chicken hierarchy. Feel free to agree, disagree, or challenge me to a chicken-eating contest.

Tonight, I'm burrito-ing myself in my blanket and diving into my manga. Tomorrow’s another long day, so future me can deal with that. Good night!
