WFH Chronicles
Today was actually my first time experiencing this whole work from home thing. I basically woke up exactly one minute before 8:30 AM, opened my laptop, and boom—data analysis mode activated. Honestly, I really enjoyed it because no one was around to boss me around or randomly assign me tasks. Just pure, uninterrupted freedom.
No noisy colleagues. No overbearing manager. No never-ending meetings. Just me, my laptop, and my questionable self-discipline.
After finishing some tasks, I casually flopped onto my bed, lay there until I felt recharged, then got back to my laptop—only to repeat the cycle until ding ding, 5:30 PM. Laptop closed, day over.
Normally, my daily commute takes about 40 minutes. But working from home? Exactly 1 second. Just a smooth transition from chair to bed. Efficient, right?
Also, walking outside in this heat? Instant regret. I don't mind getting sweaty from exercise, but the "just existing in the heat makes you drenched in sweat" kind of sweaty? Nope. Can anyone relate, or is it just me?
By the way, does anyone here know Napier? It’s a city in New Zealand. I was deciding where to go first when I land in New Zealand next year—Auckland, Te Puke, or Hastings. Then, an old friend who works in Hastings suggested Napier.
I had never heard of it before, so of course, I had to Google it. Turns out, it’s a city on the eastern coast of New Zealand’s North Island, and wow—the beaches are absolutely stunning! It’s got this cool mix of modern and traditional vibes, which makes it even more intriguing.
That said, I’m still debating where to land first, but Napier is definitely climbing up the ranks as a top contender!

Alright, I think I’ll just stop here for now. Kinda excited for the aquarium trip tomorrow! I’ll update more once I’m back home—stay tuned!
