Holiday ended...T^T

Hello, I'm finally back! I stopped writing for three days because I attended my sister's graduation ceremony in my home country. Traveling back is really convenient nowadays—I only needed to take buses. I went back on Saturday afternoon and returned to Singapore on Tuesday evening. Now, I'm updating my blog, trying to maintain my writing streaks, haha.

Time really flies like a jet when you're busy! Our schedule was packed with a photography session, the Dean's List ceremony, and the graduation ceremony. I’ve realized that as I get older, I just want enough time to rest in the hotel room after a full day of events. It’s a sign I’m getting old...😖

Also, am I the only one who feels like hotel beds and blankets are made of pure magic? The moment I flop onto one, it’s like being gently smothered by a fluffy marshmallow sent from heaven. Honestly, it feels like lying on a cloud—though I can’t confirm because, sadly, I’ve yet to nap on an actual cloud. Lol. And I have this weird obsession with cranking the aircon down to Arctic levels, just so I can wrap myself in the thick blanket. There’s something about freezing your face off while staying ridiculously cozy that’s pure bliss.

Hotel bed is the best thing ever.

Over the past three days, I ate so much delicious food that my stomach might still be processing it all. One thing’s for sure, though—noodles in soup will forever hold the crown as my favorite food. Beef noodle, chicken noodle, pork noodle—if it’s in soup, I’m sold! You could say I have a very Asian stomach—I need soup with every meal, or I start questioning my life choices, haha. We went to Ming Ang Confectionary Sdn Bhd to pick up some souvenirs, and I stumbled upon a snack called salted egg fish skin. Let me tell you—it’s a masterpiece. Chef’s kiss. I’m literally munching on it as I write this post. Highly recommended!

I just realized it’s been two and a half months since I left my hometown and came to Singapore. That’s also the last time I saw my family. I really miss having them around and having someone close to talk to… My mum keeps asking if my new job is okay for me. I know she means well—she’s just worried I might be too stressed out. Sending them off at the airport is always the hardest part—you never know exactly when you’ll see them again. But hey, it’s all good! I’ll see them in another three weeks, so it’s not too long to wait haha.

While I was checking the date, I remembered that today, November 19th, 2024, marks the 4th year since my first cat crossed the rainbow bridge. He was a special one, and he really had a big piece of my heart. I’m still missing you, catto…
