Short Getaway

spent my Saturday in JB, and it was definitely the best decision I made this week! I had so much delicious food, especially the mi hun kueh, which totally made up for the disappointing pan mee I had in Singapore!

I realized I can't upload images because I'm writing this post on my phone. Apparently, I need to pay first before I can upload them—guess nothing's free these days! So I'll update this post with images once I’m back in Singapore. Now you’ll just have to imagine the food I ate, lol! I had mi hun kueh in the afternoon, and for dinner, we had Korean food to celebrate my friend’s sister’s birthday.

*Edit: Pictures are uploaded.

Better than Singapore’s…

By the way, I forgot to mention that every time I come to JB, I stay at my friend’s house. She was my university coursemate. There are four daughters in the house, and her mum always says I’m her fifth daughter! So it feels like home, and I can really relax here.

We had a big pot of Korean army stew, a bowl of tteokbokki, two plates of fried chicken (soy sauce and spicy), and eggs. The fried chicken was so juicy! I only managed two pieces though—there was just too much food, and I barely feel hungry today.

Time flies, and tomorrow will be Sunday already. I don't really feel like going back to Singapore—Malaysia is such a great place to stay. But oh well, I’ll be back soon!
