Last day of November!

Hi everyone! πŸŽ‰ Today marks the last day of November, which means we’re just about to step into the festive month of Christmas! πŸŽ„πŸŽ…

For lunch, I visited Paik's Noodle at Tiong Bahru Plaza. The famous outlet is actually at Suntec City, but since that’s a bit of a trek for me, Tiong Bahru it was! My friend and I decided to treat ourselves to two of their bestsellers: the classic Jjajang Myeon and something called Gochu Yuringi.

Most of you probably know Jjajang Myeon—it’s that delicious noodle dish topped with a rich, savory black bean sauce. The noodles were wonderfully chewy, and the sauce? Packed with flavor! πŸ˜‹ As for Gochu Yuringi, it’s spicy fried chicken with chili peppers and soy sauce. The portion was huge (yay!), and they even deboned the chicken for us (double yay!). But… the chicken turned out a bit dry—not quite as juicy as I’d hoped.

Price: 45.56 SGD including the refillable tea

As I recall, this is actually my 14th post! (Amazing, right?!) I can’t believe I’ve kept up with writing for this long—though, to be fair, I did skip a few days here and there. Blame it on my sister’s graduation (totally worth it!) or the sheer exhaustion from traveling back and forth. But hey, progress is progress, and I’m super proud of it. And I really hope I can keep this going for as long as possible. Fingers crossed!

Anyway, while wandering around Tiong Bahru Plaza, I stumbled upon a Miniso shop. Right in the middle of the store, it was all Christmas Snoopy! I couldn’t resist (who could, really?), so I treated myself to a small Christmas Snoopy holding a present. He’s absolutely adorable!

Look at him go... stealing hearts with his cuteness
