Skin Goals

Hi, my lovely followers! (If there are any… lol!) I’m back to the hustle and bustle of Singapore city life. As much as I hate to admit it, good times really fly by way too fast! I was home sweet home on Friday night, but now I’m already back to my rented room by Sunday night (cue the tears...T^T).

And guess what? Monday’s creeping in, but at least there’s a silver lining—I’m heading to a training session tomorrow instead of the office. Small wins for me.

I packed so much into my weekend back home! Got my hair trimmed, finally bought new jeans (because everyone wouldn’t stop nagging about how ancient my old ones were), spent some quality time petting my dog, and—most importantly—consulted a dermatologist about my jawline breakout. Productivity level: unlocked!

Over the weekend, I visited a clinic in Kuching called The Corner Clinic. I actually stumbled across it while scrolling through recommendations on XHS. The doctor told me my breakout was caused by eating too much "rubbish" food—aka processed food. And honestly, when I thought about it, they weren’t wrong. I’ve been munching on processed stuff way too much during my time in Singapore!

Here’s my typical day: a cup of green tea and a packet of biscuits (yes, processed food) for breakfast, and cereal with Milo at night—another processed combo. So, now I’m on strict control mode, cutting back on processed food like my skin depends on it (which it does!).

The doctor also emphasized the importance of quality sleep—10 PM sharp, which is tough because, well… it’s already past 10, and here I am writing my blog (oops!). On top of that, I need to drink 2–3 liters of water daily and load up on fruits and veggies—5 to 7 servings a day. It sounds like a lot, but fingers crossed I can stick to it!

Alright, that’s all the updates for my weekend! I’ll try to share more tomorrow after I get back from training. For now, it’s time to hit the hay. Good night and sleep tight—here’s to better skin for all of us!

I'll try...
