Flight Booked!
I think I’m going to pass out at 9 p.m. later — my head feels like it weighs 10 tons and it’s currently doing pirouettes like it’s auditioning for Swan Lake.
Today, I’ve been wandering around the office like a lost ghost, talking to every human (and possibly a few chairs) I could find.
Along the way, I caught some juicy rumors: apparently a few people are planning to resign at the same time — it’s like a coordinated escape mission.
I also bumped into my former lunch buddy, LB, and she said she’s hanging around until the end of May.
Honestly, it feels like everyone’s just waiting for the right moment to yeet themselves out of the company.
And since I’m leaving soon too, I’m thinking maybe I should summon my friends for one last chaotic meetup — my Form 6 gang, Form 5 crew, and university coursemates.
It’s going to be like speed dating but with friendship: meet, scream updates at each other, hug, and run.
Oh, and while I was typing this blog post (because why not multitask when your brain is already overheating), I was also busy buying my flight ticket home.
Good news: I finally bought it! I’m officially flying home on May 27, 2025 — exactly one month from today!
I can't wait to finally go home and smother my baby dog with love (whether he wants it or not).
Meanwhile, there’s one tiny cloud in my otherwise sunny sky: I still haven’t received my IELTS results.
Feeling just slightly anxious... but hey, future me can deal with it. Let’s just hope for good news tomorrow.
Fingers crossed and toes double-knotted!
