Letting Go and Looking Forward

By the reactions of my colleagues when they found out I resigned, I know that I am deeply loved and appreciated by most of them. Like I said before, I may not be the most hardworking employee, but I am definitely one of the most helpful. I completed tasks with both speed and quality.

Today, my supervisor came to me with my signed resignation letter and asked, "Are you sure?"—wanting to confirm that I was truly determined to leave. I said yes without a second thought. I’ll probably miss them, but not for long. I’ll just keep them as a good memory from my time in Singapore.

I will definitely cherish the rest of the time I have left in this company and in Singapore. It's a great place for many people, but it’s not the right place for me right now. Maybe I’ll come back after wandering around the world. Who knows? The future is unpredictable—by the time I return, some of them may have already retired. But I guess that’s life. We just live our own journeys and hope for the best that lies ahead.

Anyway, tomorrow is the day I finally take my IELTS exam. Right now, my mind feels empty, and I don’t know what to expect. I’m just praying that I’ll have plenty of ideas when it comes time to write my essays.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come before You today, grateful for Your presence in my life. I ask for Your guidance and wisdom as I prepare for my exams. Fill me with Your peace, removing all anxiety and fear. Help me to understand and remember everything I have studied. Grant me clarity of mind to grasp complex concepts and the strength to stay focused and disciplined in my studies.

Lord, I trust in Your plan for me. I believe that with Your help, I can succeed. Let Your wisdom lead me through these exams. Thank You for Your endless support and love. I know I am not alone, for You are always with me.

In Jesus’ precious name, Amen.
