Plane Ticket to NZ

I did something today that made my wallet sob uncontrollably—and the worst part? I didn’t even leave the house. Yep, I finally bought my ticket to New Zealand!

To be specific, I’ll be landing in Auckland on 30th October 2025. I'm departing from my hometown, with a quick pit stop in Kuala Lumpur. The layover is around 2 hours and 30 minutes—just enough time to grab a snack, panic about missing my flight, and then realize I still have time to pee twice.

From KL, I'll be flying out around 8PM. It’s a 10-hour flight, so I should arrive in Auckland around 12PM, hopefully looking somewhat alive and not like I just wrestled a grizzly bear in economy class.

Now, what happens after I land? No idea. We'll cross that bridge when my jet-lagged self gets there. I’m a bit anxious, but also super excited!

This will be my first time going this far all by myself, so yeah—cue the dramatic music and minor internal screaming. There are definitely a lot of unknowns ahead. But hey, we all have to learn how to live on our own eventually, right?

So instead of finding a travel partner for New Zealand, I decided to solo it. More freedom, more me-time, and nobody to judge my weird travel snacks. I believe, by God’s grace, I’ll meet amazing people along the way. Until then, I’m keeping a calm heart and looking forward to whatever adventure lies ahead.
