The Art of Doing Nothing
Okay, so today I did my usual public holiday routine—which includes very important activities like sleeping, eating, watching movies, and yes... sleeping again. That’s right, folks. I didn't go out. Why? Because I know the secret: when it's a public holiday, everyone goes out. Which means crowds. And crowds mean stress. So I made the wise (and introvert-approved) decision to stay home. Look at me being all smart and responsible while lounging in pajamas!
I was also celebrating the beautiful fact that I didn’t have to work today. Pure joy. Now, tomorrow is a working day, BUT it’s Friday—which means I just have to survive one day and then bam, it’s the weekend again. Easy math.
But of course, the universe loves plot twists. Next week is going to be a fun one (read: chaotic), because as usual, the ever-so-lovely manager decided to throw me under the bus—again. Apparently, I’m now responsible for giving a plant tour to customers from Dyson. Yes, me. An innocent, entry-level engineer, suddenly being asked to represent the entire department like I’m some tech ambassador. Why not him? Oh, he’s off on a “business trip” (translation: escaping responsibilities like a pro). Meanwhile, I’m out here trying to survive the last three weeks of my time in this company.
All I ask is: can’t a girl chill and coast quietly into the sunset of her resignation? Let there be fewer issues and more cute, stress-free memories before I yeet myself into the next chapter of life. Ugh.
