Friday Rush: Escape from Sg

It’s Friday, and I’m still in Singapore because my lazy ass won’t be moving for another 40 minutes. I’m meeting my friend in Woodlands at 9 PM, which means I technically need to be out of the house by 8 PM at the latest. But let’s be real—I’ll probably be scrambling at the last minute.

I can already picture the 70% of Malaysians working in Singapore, charging through customs like it’s the zombie apocalypse. But hey, we all need that sweet, sweet Malaysian air, right? Anyway, I’ll probably scribble a few more sentences here before I ciao and disappear for three days.

Since my laptop is staying back in Singapore (poor thing, holding down the fort for me), there won’t be any updates until I’m back. And by then—boom! It’ll be April. Can time just slow down for a second?! I have no idea what I did last week, let alone last year. One blink and—bam—April 2025? Unacceptable.

Anyway, wishing all my Muslim friends a Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri! I bet Malaysia is looking extra festive right now. Can’t wait to be home! See ya!
