My Ideal Life

Lunch: 2.50 SGD

Guys, after this, just five more blog posts until I hit my 100th! I can’t actually believe I’ve written this much. Even more shocking? I’ve somehow managed to keep up with this daily writing habit. Sure, I’ve skipped a few days here and there—especially when my laptop decided to go on an adventure without me—but hey, I always come back.

At this point, I’m basically treating this blog like my personal diary, with my sister as the sole (and possibly only willing) audience. It’s my safe space to dump all the random thoughts swirling in my head, free from judgment. As I’ve mentioned before, I have the very precious talent of being an excellent listener and giving thoughtful feedback. But here’s the plot twist—I’ve never really found someone to do the same for me. Maybe it’s because people have different perspectives and opinions, so they don’t always get why I do certain things. And honestly? I don’t need you to understand—I just want someone to cheer me on. The people who truly get me will already know the "why" behind everything I do.

Now, onto my ultimate life goal: working from 10 AM to 3 PM in a cozy coffee shop, then strolling home past a beautiful beach or lake, where I can sit for an hour or two, just letting the wind slap me in the face like nature’s way of saying, you’re alive, deal with it. Being able to enjoy a gorgeous view? That’s a luxury in Singapore.

When I’m not working, I’ll be casually wandering into bookstores, flipping through random books like an intellectual nomad. On my free days, I’ll walk my dog (because obviously, my dog deserves adventures too) or work out just enough to break a sweat and convince myself I’m being healthy.

Ah, such an ideal life. No complicated human relationships—just me, my thoughts, my dog, and a good cup of tea. Humans already come with enough emotions to handle; I don’t need extra people in my life making it more chaotic.
