The Art of Strategic MCs

I only had an apple today before 8 PM. Why? Because I’m on a mission—detoxing my body by clearing out all the food before taking in more. Sounds noble, right? Yeah, well, it was a battle. Every time hunger struck, my brain started playing a slideshow of all my favorite foods. It was like a haunted house, but instead of ghosts, there were burgers and ramen floating around, whispering, "Eat meee~"

I’m basically walking a tightrope between saving money and eating the food I actually want. And let me tell you, my cravings almost had me in a chokehold. But in the end, I emerged victorious! Cue epic victory music.

The real enemy, though? Those evil, mouthwatering food videos on XHS. Seriously, why do they exist when I’m trying to resist temptation? It’s like they know. I was sweating, shaking, questioning all my life choices.

To anyone trying to lose weight or who has already succeeded—you’re the real MVPs. I salute you. If I had to do this 10 times, I’d probably give up 9 times for food. Because honestly? I just love eating. And cooking. And staring at food. And, well, everything food-related.

Dieting is pain.

So, I’m planning to get an MC on Tuesday… or Wednesday… or maybe even Thursday. You know, just strategically spreading out my "recovery time" to fast-forward the week and reach the weekend faster. Genius, right?

Plus, since I’m resigning on either 2/4 or 21/4, my MC days are basically a use it or lose it situation. It would be a shame to let them go to waste, so might as well put them to good use now.

That being said, my throat is feeling itchy, so technically, it’s not completely fake. Let’s just say it’s a preventive measure—resting now to avoid a full-blown illness later. Work smarter, not harder.
